Sweepstakes Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES.  A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.  OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL TEXAS RESIDENTS WHO ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER WITH A VALID TEXAS DRIVER’S LICENSE OR A VALID TEXAS ID.

1.         SPONSORS:  The sponsors of this sweepstakes are Univision Radio Broadcasting Texas, L.P. with a business address of 1777 NE Loop 410, Suite 400, San Antonio, Texas 78217, (collectively “Sponsors”).

2.         PRIZES; ODDS OF WINNING:  Listeners will have the opportunity to win a $1000.  Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.  

Sponsors reserve the right to substitute any or all of the prizes with any article or service of similar or greater value at their sole discretion.  Prizes may not be assigned or transferred by winner.

3.         HOW TO ENTER:  You may enter the sweepstakes by:

(i)                            Mailing in a 3x5 index card to 1777 NE Loop 410, Suite 400, San Antonio, Texas.  Entry must include Date, Time and sex of Tina’s baby.  If more than one entry has the same answers, the entry postmarked first will be the one and only winner of the contest.

All qualifiers must provide name, address, telephone number and email address (if you have one).  All qualifiers may enter more than one time but are limited one guess per entry.

All winners’ information will become the property of Sponsors and will not be acknowledged to entrants.  Sponsors are not responsible for lost or ineligible entries.  Sponsors may use the information you submit to offer you information on other offers or products or services.

4.         ELIGIBILITY:  This sweepstakes is open to all legal Texas residents who are 18 years of age or older with a valid Texas driver’s license or valid Texas ID as of January 1, 2008 and a valid Social Security Card.  Persons in any of the following categories are not eligible to participate or win a prize:  (a) persons who from and after January 1, 2008 were or are employees or agents of Sponsors or their parent, affiliates, stations, subsidiaries, or the service agencies or independent contractors of the above organization(s); (b) persons who are engaged in the development, production, distribution of materials, or drawing of winners for this sweepstakes; and (c) persons who are immediate family of or who reside in the same household as any person in either of the preceding categories.

5.         SELECTION:  The winners will be selected daily as indicated in Section 3.  All winners are required to have a valid Texas driver’s license or a valid Texas ID and a valid Social Security card.  Anyone who does not provide the required documentation will not be allowed to pick up the Grand Prize at Sponsors’ sole discretion. 

The winner(s) will be selected one week after Tina’s baby is born. If a winner is ineligible, it will be deemed as if the winner has rejected the prize, and Sponsor will select a new winner.

6.         SCHEDULE:  The entry period of the sweepstakes begins on Monday, January 4, 2008,  – Thursday, July 31, 2008

7.         ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS:  Sponsors reserve the right to terminate this sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsors’ reasonable control impairs the integrity of the sweepstakes as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion.  At their sole discretion, Sponsors may disqualify any person whom they consider to have intentionally violated the Official Rules or any element of this sweepstakes.  By participating, entrants agree:  (a) to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judge; (b) to release and hold harmless Sponsors and their parent, affiliates, stations, subsidiaries and independent contractors, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents, including advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever or injuries, damages or losses of any kind to persons and property which may be sustained with respect to acceptance, possession or use (or misuse) of the prizes or while traveling to, preparing for or participation in any prize-related activity .  All prize recipients must sign a separate Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release. Winner agrees to permit Sponsors to use his/her name, address, city, state, photograph, voice, videotape or any likeness for advertising or publicity purposes for no additional compensation.

8.         TAXES AND MISCELLANEOUS FEES:  Taxes (federal, state, and local) and any other related fees are solely the responsibility of the winner and the winner may be required to complete tax forms; if applicable, winner may receive an IRS Form 1099 for the retail value of the prize.

9.         WINNERS LIST:  For the name of the prize-winners, available after August 31, 2008, please send a separate, self-addressed stamped envelope to “KXTN The Baby is Coming Promotion - Winner”, 1777 NE Loop 410, Suite 400, San Antonio, Texas 78217.

10.       COPY OF THE RULES:  To obtain a copy of the rules through August 31, 2008, please send a separate, self-addressed stamped envelope to “KXTN The Baby is Coming Promotion - Rules”, 1777 NE Loop 410, Suite 400, San Antonio, Texas 78217.

11.       APPLICABLE LAW:  These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without giving effect to conflicts of law rules.  Winner must comply with all applicable state laws related to possession of the prize.
